There are three styles: a Story Short tells one play from the setup to the payoff, whatever role you play; a Hype Moment cuts your biggest play fast, with punch-ins and sound; a Custom AI Short is made from a sentence you write. Let VodSmith pick the moments, choose them from a ranked list with a preview of each, or give it the exact minutes, and every Short in an order uses a different moment. Each Short comes back as a full 1080p vertical video you can edit. Each one has its own price, shown before anything starts, and is only charged once it is delivered. If a Short fails, it costs nothing.

No. It works across games. When a game has its own VodSmith engine, that engine adds what it knows about the game on top. Custom AI Shorts and extra videos work on any game. On League, Story Shorts and Hype Moments are ready with your video; on Apex Legends, Highlight Play and Top Plays are; on other games they open up once your best moments have been found.

Up to the resolution you recorded at, to a maximum of 1080p, at 30 or 60 frames per second. If your source qualifies, "Original" is offered and the export keeps your exact frame size and rate. Shorts render at full 1080p vertical.

League of Legends and Apex Legends each have their own engine, built for how that game's biggest videos are edited (Apex is in beta). Every other game, or no game at all, gets the narrative cut. More games are planned.

No. The video comes back finished. If you want to adjust it, the editor is included, and you can export the cut to DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro to finish it there.

It depends on the length of the stream. We email you when the video is ready, so you can close the tab.

Plans start at $19.99 a month and include monthly plan credits; unused ones roll over for one extra month. You can also buy credit packs any time; credit pack credits never expire. See the pricing page for exactly what each plan includes.

Yes. Your plan gives you a set number of monthly plan credits at the start of each billing month (300 on Creator, 675 on Pro). Any of those you do not use roll over for one extra billing month, so Creator can bank up to 600 monthly plan credits and Pro up to 1,350. Credit pack credits are separate: they can be added on top infinitely and never expire. VodSmith automatically uses the credits that expire soonest first.

Yes. The Creator plan comes with a 14-day free trial. Add a card, pay $0 today, and you get 80 credits to make real videos with (enough to finish a full-length edit), the full editor and exports, no watermark. After 14 days the plan renews at $19.99/month unless you cancel first; cancel from Manage billing at any time before then and you are never charged. Trial projects can be up to 12 hours per stream, 3 projects at a time. One trial per person. Everything you buy after the trial follows the refund policy.

Projects are available for 14 days after creation and finished videos for 30 days, then deleted. Export what you want to keep. You can export or delete your account and its data at any time. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
