What do I actually get back?
A full, edited video made from your VOD, ready to post. From the same upload you can also find your best moments and turn the ones you pick into an editable vertical Short. You get the editor either way, so you can change anything before you publish.
Do I get vertical Shorts too?
Yes, from the same upload. VodSmith finds your best moments and gives you a ranked list you can watch. Pick the ones you want and they become one Short you can edit, then render as a full 1080p vertical video, up to 59 seconds. Finding the moments costs credits and is priced before it runs. Building a Short from them costs nothing, and you only pay when you render it.
Does finding highlights only work on League?
No. It works across games. When a game has its own VodSmith engine, that engine adds what it knows about the game on top.
What quality do the videos come out at?
Up to the resolution you recorded at, to a maximum of 1080p, at 30 or 60 frames per second. If your source qualifies, "Original" is offered and the export keeps your exact frame size and rate. Shorts render at full 1080p vertical.
Which games does it work with?
League of Legends first. Each game gets its own engine built for how that game's biggest videos are edited, and more games are planned.
Do I have to edit anything myself?
No. The video comes back finished. If you want to adjust it, the editor is included, and you can export the cut to DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro to finish it there.
How long does it take?
You upload, we process, and you get an email the moment your video is ready. No need to keep the tab open.

Do unused credits roll over?
Yes. Your plan gives you a set number of monthly plan credits at the start of each billing month (300 on Creator, 675 on Pro). Any of those you do not use roll over for one extra billing month, so Creator can bank up to 600 monthly plan credits and Pro up to 1,350. Credit pack credits are separate: they can be added on top infinitely and never expire. VodSmith automatically uses the credits that expire soonest first.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Creator plan comes with a 14-day free trial. Add a card, pay $0 today, and you get 80 credits to make real videos with (enough to finish a full-length edit), the full editor and exports, no watermark. After 14 days the plan renews at $19.99/month unless you cancel first; cancel from Manage billing at any time before then and you are never charged. Trial projects can be up to 12 hours per stream, 3 projects at a time. One trial per person. Everything you buy after the trial follows the refund policy.
What happens to my footage?
Projects are available for 14 days after creation and finished videos for 30 days, then deleted. Export what you want to keep. You can export or delete your account and its data at any time. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
