Need more credits?
A credit pack adds 150 credits to your account any time, on top of either plan. Purchased credits do not expire and are not affected by your plan's rollover limit. If paid work is not delivered, the credits for it come back by themselves.
How credits work
The long-form estimates above are what a month of credits makes when you spend it all on long-form videos. The same balance also pays for finding highlights and for rendering Shorts, so what you actually get depends on the mix you choose.
Monthly plan credits are the credits your subscription gives you at the start of each billing month. Unused ones roll over for one extra billing month. Credit pack credits are bought separately, can be added on top infinitely, and never expire. VodSmith always uses the credits that expire soonest first.

What is a credit?
Credits pay for the processing: making the long-form video, finding the highlights in a stream, and rendering a finished Short. Longer streams, larger selections and AI editing use more. You always see the exact credit price before anything paid starts, and that shown price is a hard cap: it never charges past it. If paid work is not delivered, the credits for it come back automatically.
Do Shorts use credits?
Finding the best moments in a stream uses credits, and you see the exact price before it runs. Building a Short out of the moments you picked is free, and so is editing it, so you can put it together and look at it first. Rendering the finished Short uses credits, and you see that price before you render.
Do unused credits roll over?
Yes. Your plan gives you a set number of monthly plan credits at the start of each billing month (300 on Creator, 675 on Pro). Any of those you do not use roll over for one extra billing month, so Creator can bank up to 600 monthly plan credits and Pro up to 1,350. Credit pack credits are separate: they can be added on top infinitely and never expire. VodSmith automatically uses the credits that expire soonest first.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Creator plan comes with a 14-day free trial. Add a card, pay $0 today, and you get 80 credits to make real videos with (enough to finish a full-length edit), the full editor and exports, no watermark. After 14 days the plan renews at $19.99/month unless you cancel first; cancel from Manage billing at any time before then and you are never charged. Trial projects can be up to 12 hours per stream, 3 projects at a time. One trial per person. Everything you buy after the trial follows the refund policy.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like and your access runs to the end of the month you already paid for. Finished videos stay downloadable through their 30-day window.
